The specific minimum system requirements for greenstreet products are printed clearly on the packaging. In general, greenstreet products are designed to run with Windows 95 and upwards, utilising high colour or better displays. Lower colour capability systems will normally work but with some degradation of graphic quality. 800 X 600 screen size (SVGA) is the lowest screen resolution supported by greenstreet.
greenstreet products all install from CD (Web downloadable versions are available - see http://www.gstsoft.com regarding these). Do one of the following:
| 1/ | If Autorun is enabled on your machine... simply insert the CD to start the installation process. |
| 2/ | If Autorun is disabled on your machine... click on 'Start', 'Run', and type 'D:\setup.exe', then click 'OK'. (If D is not the driveletter of your CD drive, then substitute the correct letter here) |
Please note that some greenstreet products use shared technology. For example our Clipart and Photo CDs all use the greenstreet Picture Browser to view images. Once the Picture Browser has been installed, inserting any greenstreet Clipart CD will not force setup to run again. (Autorun first checks to see if you have the Picture Browser installed before launching its setup program). This is intentional, and is designed to save both time and duplicate installation of software. If your installation becomes corrupt, and you wish to re-install the Picture Browser software, go to Control Panel and using the Add/Remove options, uninstall the corrupt product. Simply re-inserting the CD into the drive should now cause Picture Browser setup to run again.
